Companion Kittens
You are getting ready to make an investment in a Munchkin kitten, and you want to make sure he or she is happy. This is where a Companion Kitten comes in!  These are non-standard Munchkin kittens, usually from the same litter as the kitten you are adopting. We offer them at a fantastic price of just $25-$45, and they are only available at the time of purchase of a standard Munchkin kitten.  What is the difference in price? The $25 Companion Kitten comes with all shots and wormings, and registered with MRA, but not altered or microchipped.  The $45 Companion Kitten comes with all shots and wormings, registered with MRA and microchipped. They are not altered.

Shipping Fees
We prefer to use Roadie to ship kittens. It is a door-to-door delivery service and we feel that it causes less stress to the kittens during their journey to their new home.
Shipping costs vary depending on location. To get an estimate of shipping costs, please visit  the  Roadie website.  We are located in Yakima, WA. Please use that as your starting location.
We are always happy to use the carrier of your choice, just let us know.
There is also an additional fee of $80 that includes a crate, bedding, litterbox, litter, harness, leash and food/water bowls for the journey. This additional fee is paid directly to us so that we can purchase these items for your kitten's trip home. All above mentioned items are yours to keep and do not need to be returned to us.

Delivery Fees
If you live within about 300 miles of Yakima, WA we can deliver your new kitten for around $115 (depending on the price of gas at the time).  Just let us know that you want your kitten delivered and we will get a delivery quote for you.
We use our own carrier, litter box and dishes, so you won't need to pay any additional fees.

Getting Ready...

The first step in adopting one of our Munchkin kittens is chosing which kitten you would like to add to your family. They do get reserved fast, so if you fall in love with a kitten, put a deposit on them ASAP! You can even chose to get on one of our waiting lists and be notified of new arrivals before they are made available on our website.

All Set...

Once you have picked out your kitten and given us a deposit, we will email you updates and photos of your fur-baby at least once a week. Updates usually include current weight of your kitten, any new milestones they achieve, shots given, etc.  We are always happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your kitten.

Going Home!

All of our kittens are sent home with their Registry & kitten care info, shot record, a toy, and some food to get them through their first few days in their new home. Shipping is available, please let us know that you are interested in having your kitten shipped so that we may get a quote for you. We charge actual shipping fees.

What is the difference between a PET kitten and a BREEDING kitten?

PET kittens are just that, pets. They will be spayed or neutered prior to going home, which unfortunately can sometimes delay when they get to go home.  Kittens must be at least 2 pounds and 8 weeks old in order to be altered. Since Munchkin kittens are smaller than regular sized kittens, they may be closer to 10 or even 12 weeks before they hit that 2 pound mark. They generally need an additional 2 weeks to recover from the surgery before they can go to their new homes. This means that sometimes, kittens won't get to their new homes until they are around 14 weeks old.
In some cases, we will let a kitten go home before they are altered, however we do charge an extra $300, to be held until we receive photographic and written veterinary proof that the kitten has been altered. At that time, we will gladly refund the $300 to you within 24 hours of confirming the alteration of the kitten.   This allows kittens to go to their new home at just 10 weeks old. If this is something that you are interested in, please let us know and we will be happy to make sure it gets written into your contract. This is also a great option for people who want to have their own vet do the spay or neuter surgery, or wait until the kitten is a little older to have it altered. If you have any questions about this, please let us know!

BREEDER kittens are sold with breeding rights, usually to catteries. These kittens will be usually be used in a breeding program, however some people just don't want their kitten altered.
